Green's Gluten Free Dubbel Ale (ABV 7.0%) is the world's first example of this style made with no barley. It's produced from all gluten free ingredients -- water, millet, buckwheat (soba), brown rice, sorghum, hops, and yeast -- by De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium for Green's in the UK.

It pours clear dark brown with a tan head and a traditional Belgian yeast bouquet. In the classic dubbel fashion, it has hints of dark fruits, brown sugar and toffee, and is medium-bodied and moderately carbonated.

Food Pairings: Makes a fine aperitif; also great with traditional Italian antipasto, soft cheeses, gluten-free baked goods, and Belgian-style "pomme frites".
Green's Gluten Free Beers have been brewed in Lochristi, Belgium at DeProef Brewery since 2004. Inspired by strong European beers and developed to a closely guarded secret recipe, these gluten-free beers are brewed with a full body, crisp taste, and a refreshing flavor, losing none of the taste but all of the allergens. Green's Beers are suitable for both Vegetarian and Vegan diets.

Green's beers are made from gluten-free ingredients and DO NOT contain any of the following allergens or products thereof: Gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Soybeans, Milk, Lactose, Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Sesame seeds, Sulfur dioxide nor Sulfites.

I am severely allergic to wheat and was so thankful when my husband found this beer. I have been drinking dubbell ale for quite a while. Love this beer!

This beer is the only one I've found (since I am now gluten-free) that has the full body and flavor that I love in beer. I will be a frequent customer.

Best Gluten Free Beer

I was diagnosed with celiac in 2020 and loved to drink beer. I have tried every gluten free beer I can locate. I had never heard of Green's Endeavour Gluten Free Dubbel Ale until a few years ago while searching through the gluten free beer section of the liquor store and decided to try. It has a nice dark color and and creates a head just like a normal beer when pouring into a mug or glass. Due to the dark color I thought it would have a strong bitter taste. I have tried every gluten free beer on the market and none are remotely close to the look and taste. The majority of gluten free beers leave an after taste and feel heavy after drinking. Greene's dubbel Ale has neither. I am no expert but my opinion is the ingredients that make this beer exceptional. The majority of gluten free beers list sorghum as the first or second ingredient, which makes it the primary ingredient. The Greene's dubbel ale lists sorghum as the fifth ingredient. This is a great beer and the only one I drink. Purchase a few, get them cold, pour into a cold glass, sit back and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. I am confident that you will enjoy that if you are disappointed, contact me and I will buy them and pay the shipping charges

I have been totally blowing away by all three of the green friend Belgian Ales. In my opinion these gluten-free Ariel's are better than any other brand of beer that I have ever had. They are rich and complex and long on the tongue and extremely satisfying. They are worth every penny in my opinion. I think you will agree.
