Belgian-Style Ales ships gift orders with a short greeting on the packing slip and shipping label. No catalogs or price lists are enclosed with gift orders. Belgian-Style Ales will not ship anonymous gifts (packages where the billing party is not indicated). Sorry, no gift wrapping is available. Note: for all alcohol shipments, both buyer AND recipient must be OVER 21 years of age.

How does Belgian-Style Ales ship orders?

Orders containing alcohol are shipped by FedEx (Federal Express). For this reason, you must supply a street address. ADULT SIGNATURE required upon delivery.

Does Belgian-Style Ales ship to PO boxes?

By law, we cannot ship alcohol by the USPS (United States Postal Service) and therefore, we cannot ship to PO boxes.

When will my order ship?

If all items are in stock, most orders placed on a weekday will leave our warehouse within 48 hours. Orders placed during the weekend will generally ship on Monday. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, we ask that you allow two or three additional business days to ship.

Our 48-hour shipping commitment excludes weekends, holidays, closings due to extreme weather conditions and other related delays. Although we work hard to keep all our products in stock, occasionally out-of-stock items will delay your order. In this case, we will notify you when you place your order by phone, or you will be notified by email when you place your order via our website.

How long does FedEx shipping take? See the map below to estimate how long your order(s) will take to reach you, once they leave our warehouse. Please keep in mind that FedEx may not include the day the order is picked up, weekends or holidays in these estimated shipping times. Bad weather may occasionally cause shipping delays. FedEx air services (next day, 2nd day or 3rd day) are not available, because Belgian-Style Ales is not able to ship beer by air.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Shipping and handling costs are automatically calculated based on the shipping weight for each item. The weights are added together and rounded up to the nearest pound. This amount is used to calculate the total shipping cost using the chart below.

How do I return merchandise to Belgian-Style Ales?

If you are not satisfied with what you have received, you can return any unopened bottles to us within 30 days of purchase. The bottles must be received in good (unopened & unbroken) condition, and customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We will issue a refund for what you returned, including any sales tax paid. However, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
1. Circle the product and the price paid on the sales receipt. (Packing slips and photocopies are acceptable.)
2. If different from the address on the receipt, indicate where the refund should be sent.
3. Although not required, we would appreciate a short note letting us know why you are returning the product.

What if my shipment is lost or damaged?

If FedEx has lost or damaged your order, we will initiate and handle the claim with FedEx. When a package is lost or damaged, it is important for you to contact us immediately – within 5 business days, if possible – so that we can start the claims process. PLEASE DO NOT CALL FEDEX YOURSELF. Also, if there is damage, it is important for you to keep all contents AND packing material. FedEx may come and inspect them.

Can I cancel my order?

If you have paid for items which have not yet been shipped, we can cancel the order and issue a full refund. We can also refund the unshipped portion of any Belgian Beer of the Month plan.

Can I visit Belgian-Style Ales?

Please note that neither Belgian-Style Ales nor Monastery Greetings has a storefront. If you are in our area and would like to pick up your order at our warehouse, please place your order by phone and we can arrange an appointment for pickup. Sorry, there are no walk-in sales.

Does Belgian-Style Ales give quantity discounts?

No. Because of Ohio laws regarding the sale of alcohol, Belgian-Style Ales is unable to offer quantity discounts. However, occasionally we are able to offer one-time discounts, price reductions and shipping discounts. Customers can learn about these specials by joining our Broadcast Email List.
